hi i agree with your first opinion (about team play), but i dont know about that thing with sladar, cuz he is pretty cool hero but u should also write items on him and i will write u a name of hero which could defeted him + items (but also it depends on a player-skills too)

Dota was made for team matches,but we can h2h so some heroes get imbalanced i personally feel

slardar is beatable man with intel heroes..n hes a good support hero more than a h2h hero..

i doubt it see slardar has amplify right which is very effective vs intell and he in later levels has lots of stg and almost permanent
bash. i would use 2bashers,power treads,hyperstone,a desolater\sange and yasha. tell ur opinion in msn my add is saqif_32@hotmail.com

i think there is no best 1v1 hero everything is counterble from a 7k health centar to a 50 or 60 percent stuner u just need the right hero to counter it
